Nevis was one of the first common-law jurisdictions in the World to allow the establishment of foundations, which are locally referred to as “multiform foundations”. A multiform foundation is a protean entity that operates as a foundation, but may take the underlying form, for administrative and legal purposes of a trust, corporation, limited liability company or partnership.
